"Hand in mine, into your icy blues,
And then I'd say to you
We could take to the highway
With this trunk of ammuition too,
I'd end my days with you
In a hail of bullets..."
The sound of the song playing was all that could be heard - The audience too enchanted to do anything but watch as My Chemical Romance finished up the show with the song Demolition Lovers. The song steadily increased it's pace as it got closer to the end.
"As lead rains pass on through our phantoms,
Forever, forever!
Like scarecorws that fuel this flame,
Wer're burning forever! and ever,
Know how much I want to show you you're the only one,
Like a bed of roses there's a dozen reasons
In this gun"
The band's singer, Gerard Way, looked over at their rythm guitarist, Frank Iero, as he sang the last few lines of the song. The slightly younger man was giving the show his all, just like every other time.
"And as we're falling down
And in this pool of blood
And as we're touching hands..
And as we're falling down
And in this pool of blood..
And as we're falling down
I'll see your eyes
And in this pool of blood
I'll meet your eyes
I mean this
Forever!"
The song came to an end, and the entire audience screamed louder than they ever have before.
"Thank you, you're all fucking amazing!", Gerard yelled into the microphone and he left the stage with the rest of the band.
As they got backstage, Frank ran over to Gerard, a huge grin spread across his face.
"That was amazing, Gee!"
"Thanks, Frankie.", Gerard said, smiling.
"Who is it about?"
